Inaugural Issue Out Now

About Us

We’re not just a literary magazine, we’re the photo album found on your grandparents’ coffee tables and the photo booth strips of lovers found as bookmarks in cafes scattered around the world far from home.

At Kindred, we intend to reflect the bonds fostered through love and acts of intimacy. Families are found everywhere, whether in blood relatives or in the group of friends found after moving away from home. We desire a platform for writers and readers to proudly present the small promises of tenderness and warmth found within their daily lives in union with those they love most.

Life is a long journey filled with hardship, but finding your people, planting roots, and creating traditions to last generations make it feel simpler. We invite you to sit at the dinner table of life and chat until the quiet hours of the night. Come, stay for a while— we’ve brewed coffee for you.
